Food donations sustain poor tribal students of boarding school

A boarding school in one region was founded to give children of a poor tribal community the opportunity to study and gain an education.

The tribal group desires for its children to have a future and understands the survival of the group depends on the education of its children. A recent report states that 64 percent of the tribe live below the global poverty line of $1.90 per day. Because they are poor, villagers cannot afford to send their children to a city school or transport them to the city each day.

Nearly 90 students and eight staff currently live at the boarding school, but food is running short. Give today to supplement the food needs of the school by providing rice and other food staples.
